When logging into Workshare you may see a message that asks you to enable your cookies and local storage. How to enable these settings depends on which browser you use for Workshare. Instructions for different browsers are given below.
Note: Procedures may vary depending on the version of the browser you are using.Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 and newer
- Click Tools > Internet Options. Select the Privacy Tab and in the Settings area, drag the slider to the bottom to allow cookies/local storage.
Mozilla Firefox 7.0 and newer
- Click the Firefox menu button and click Options. Select the Privacy tab and in the History area, select Use custom settings for history from the Firefox will dropdown. Then select the Accept cookies from sites checkbox to enable cookies/local storage.
Google Chrome 5.0
- Click the Chrome menu icon and click Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Show advanced settings. In the Privacy area, click Content settings... Select Allow local data to be set (recommended) and click Done.
Apple Safari
- Click the Safari menu and click Preferences. Select the Security tab select Always allow for the Cookies and website data setting.
Apple IOS (IPhone and IPad)
- From the Home screen, tap Settings and then Safari. For iOS 7, tap Block Cookies and select Always Allow. For iOS 6 and below, tap Accept Cookies and select Always.
Android Browser
- Open the browser and go to Menu, then Settings. Open Privacy and Security and select Accept cookies.
